Learn the principles of good editorial and copywriting in just four hours.
Here is a fantastic short writing course for copywriters, editorial freelancers, emailers and anyone whose life involves turning ideas into words for readers.
This month, The Good Copy will run Write Right – a four-hour power session on the principles of good editorial and copywriting.
The class aims to inspire participants to think critically about the writing process in terms of structure, tone, grammar, punctuation, audience and everything else that’s involved in writing, well … right.
By looking at thought starters and examples of good and bad writing from different industries and contexts, attendees will learn tools to clarify their messages and tighten their sentences.
The class will be taught by top-gun writer, editor and self-proclaimed worrier Penny Modra.
More information and tickets are available here.
Write Right is on Saturday April 14 at 2–14 Vine Street, Redfern. 10am–2pm.
