Mix Up Your Work-From-Home Routine at Common Ground Project’s Scenic Office Pod

Head down the highway towards Torquay, where you’ll find a tranquil office pod nestled amongst the Common Ground Project farm – perfect for a refreshing change of workplace scenery and a productivity boost.

The option to work from home has become the norm for most office workers, and a lot of people are experimenting with the flexibility of remote work. Now that we’re used to it, work from home doesn’t always have to mean your home. With this in mind, the team at Freshwater Creek’s Common Ground Project has launched Tiny Office – a tranquil office pod nestled amongst the restaurant’s on-site farm.

The pod is 1.7 metres wide and 1.5 metres deep, fully insulated and features a desk and chair, internet access, electricity, heating and a stellar view of the Common Ground Project farm. It’s no fuss, which means no distractions. You, a desk, simple plywood finishes and nature – a great idea if you’re feeling stagnant working from home and need a change of scenery.

The pod is designed by Tiny Room Co, a company that makes small office pods and studios. You can hire it by the day, week, or set up a regular time to come in. It costs $50 per day or $200 for five days, and you can reach it by heading down the Princes Freeway towards Geelong and Torquay.

Bookings are available 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, and if you’re in Thursdays and Fridays, the onsite Italian restaurant La Cantina is open for lunch and dinner.

More information and bookings here.

Common Ground Project’s Tiny Office is at 675 Anglesea Road, Freshwater Creek, Victoria, 3216. You can find it here.
