An opportunity for food enthusiasts to realise their passions, discover a career pathway or even uncover a talent they never knew they had.
This July, William Angliss Institute Sydney is hosting a unique, behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to work in the coffee, cookery or patisserie industries.
The day-long session offers a brief but comprehensive overview with a hands-on experience in your chosen area. Enthusiastic baristas will learn what is required to make the perfect coffee; wannabe patissiers will be introduced to tricks of the sweet pastry trade and the ground rules of confectionery, and aspiring chefs will get to experience work in an industrial kitchen.
The event is free, but places are limited so be sure to book your spot.
More information is available here.
Trial-a-Trade is on Tuesday July 4, 10am–12pm at the William Angliss Institute Sydney, 26 Waterloo Street, Surry Hills.
