Job Description: We are seeking a friendly and motivated Bakery Assistant/Barista for a casual position. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for customer service and coffee making, looking to grow within a supportive and dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform opening and closing duties to ensure the bakery is ready for business and properly secured at the end of the day.
- Serve customers with a smile, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages to a high standard.
- Assist with sandwich preparation as needed, ensuring products are fresh and high-quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Replenish stock and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the bakery.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a barista and in customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide excellent service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
