Pastry Chef

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods to the highest quality.
• Creatively 
• Utilize advanced lamination techniques to create exceptional pastry products.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team, contributing ideas and innovation to the menu.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
• Monitor inventory and assist in ordering ingredients as needed.
• Work autonomously on specific projects while also supporting team efforts.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pastry chef or in a similar role.
• Demonstrated expertise in lamination techniques.
• Energetic and passionate pastry chef, who can navigate a busy production 
• Excellent communication skills and self motivated individual 
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, food safety standards, and hygiene practices.
• Familiarity with a wide range of pastries, cakes, and baked goods.
• Bread experience is a bonus but not required.
• Ability to start early and transport yourself to the workplace.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
