About the Opportunities:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Host to assist our Reception Manager in leading our host team. This fast-paced role requires an individual with composure under pressure, the ability to multi-task, and manage bookings, walk-ins and table turnovers efficiently. You will be the key link between guests and waitstaff, with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of restaurant operations. Your ability to read guests, prioritise tasks, and think on your feet will be crucial in maintaining smooth service during high-volume periods.
Please note this is a full-time opportunity and requires unlimited Australian work rights.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
- Demonstrate at least 2 years' experience as a Senior Host or Supervisor in a premium venue. Preferably high volume
- Experience in Seven Rooms booking system or similar
- Exceptional service skills and guest focus
- Highly adaptable and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
- Organisational and time management skills
- Exemplary leadership with focus on developing crew for career growth
- Solid understanding of supervisory practices
- Exceptional communication and presentation
- Proactive, strong work ethic with a "can do" attitude
- Passion for hospitality and hunger to accelerate your career
- Ability and desire to mentor and lead others
- Able and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shift
- Must have unlimited Australian work rights
- RSA certificate
