We're seeking a super organised, dynamic leader to join our team! In this highly important combination role, you'll be the heart of our Northcote studio operations while managing and supporting our teaching team and coordinating our weekly yoga and pilates class schedule.

About The Role

In this role you'll own all aspects of our class schedule, teacher roster, internal training and development sessions and recruitment.

You will manage our Northcote studio and oversee the day-to-day operations. 

You'll get excited about our mission and will love integrating the ideas and plans of our founder. You will play a key role in maintaining our positive workplace culture, and help improve the functionality and business processes of the company.

 


Responsibilities

  • Recruit, onboard, support and manage our teaching team, including rostering, regular check-ins, contract negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Provide continuous support and regular check-ins to our regular teachers and cover teachers. 
  • Practice in classes and provide regular performance feedback.
  • Be the first point of contact in the event of last-minute roster changes or an emergency.
  • Manage our Northcote studio. 
    Assist with class sign-in and maintain studio cleanliness.
  • Create and cultivate our workplace culture, upholding company policies and communicating these to employees to ensure our team aligns with our values and goals.
  • Train new studio team members and support existing team members in growth and development.
  • Lead guest care procedures and assist with managing inbox, guest feedback, leads and sale procedures.


About You

You have at least 2 years of experience in a management role and an excellent mind for operations and logistics. You have a proven track record as an honest, kind, compassionate team leader who understands HR management and business practices. You will take pride in embodying our ethos of exceptional guest experiences and be able to inspire and support your team to do the same.

Organisation - You're self-motivated, love structure and are process-orientated. You have analytical problem-solving skills with impeccable attention to detail. 

Communication - You are a supportive figure that makes your team feel like the lines of communication are always open.

Leadership - You have strong interpersonal skills and can collaborate, inspire and build rapport with those around you.

Problem solving - You approach problems with a level head and have the confidence to make autonomous decisions. 

 

Plus!

You are passionate about living a conscious and healthy lifestyle. A background in the wellness/fitness industry is not required, but knowledge of yoga is helpful. Ideally, you have a regular and holistic yoga practice. Even better, you have completed a yoga teacher training but are not looking to teach.
