We're looking for an experienced, service-focused barista to join our small-but-mighty team for a short-term role that could lead to something longer. You'll be helping us deliver exceptional coffee and warm, thoughtful service in one of our shops -- serving drinks, assisting with retail and bakery sales, and supporting day-to-day operations.

Our coffee shops are our front-line of engagement with our customers, and the most tangible representation of both our coffee and our values. Our baristas there are a crucial part of what we do.
We're looking to bring on an enthusiastic, positive, and experienced barista, who'll provide our customers with drinks of an exceptional standard, help our guests with retail purchases, and serve a small menu of bakery items.
This role involves preparing and serving high-quality coffee drinks while ensuring customers receive warm and thoughtful service. Responsibilities also include following directions from the Shop Supervisor, learning about the coffee range, handling deliveries, restocking, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shop.
Ideal candidates will have at least two year's experience in high-end coffee service, a keen interest in learning about coffee, adaptability, strong communication skills, and a commitment to both quality service and teamwork.
This is a casual position, based primarily at our Degraves Street shop, running from late July through to early February, and may lead to an ongoing position. Shifts are Monday to Friday and approx. 30 to 35 hours a week.
