Production Packer
Market Lane Coffee
We are looking for a Production Packer to join our production team, based at our roastery and headquarters in Brunswick East. This position would be perfect for an early riser who enjoys a hands on role that plays a central part in preparing and packing coffee for the Market Lane shops, online store and wholesale partners.
- Help in a key role, preparing and packing it with care for our shops, online store and wholesale partners.
- Work in a purpose-driven, values-led team at Market Lane that cares about quality, sustainability and people.
- Engage in an active, practical production role, setting up equipment, packing orders and keeping the workspace running smoothly.

About the role
- Packing coffee for our shop, online store and wholesale locations
- Allocating coffee based on pick slips / packing sheets
- Dating and labelling coffee bags for production
- Setting up and packing down production space and equipment, safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and functional workspace
About you
- Great attention to detail, while being willing to take initiative and work towards big picture thinking
- Excellent time management and work efficiency
- Clear and respectful communication
- Comfortable working within a dynamic and evolving production space
- Respectful of safe and reliable work practices
- Walkie stacker experience is preferred, but not crucial
- Knowledge of production machinery is preferred, but not crucial(weighing and filling machines, using heat sealer)
- Must have the ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Comfortable working both within a team and autonomously
