Be part of a passionate team as Head Chef, crafting beautiful hand made pasta & home cooking in a hospitality institution in Thornbury.
Work with an experienced & supportive Exec Team where your key responsibilities will be to coordinate and also cook in the day-to-day ops of the venue. We are a strong 15 year business looking to grow.
- Drive menus for special dining events each year as well as strong seasonal specials
- Mentor and lead a dedicated kitchen team to consistently deliver traditional, high quality Italian cuisine with a fresh pasta focus
- Work a genuine 40 hour week with two consecutive days off - we value a balanced lifestyle
Alongside an experienced executive team, your key responsibilities will be to run the day to day operations of a busy venue which has both an a la carte and functions focus.
The successful candidate will possess the following -
- minimum 3 to 5 years experience as a Head Chef
- be passionate about multi regional Italian cooking
- an eye for detail, quality and consistency
- strong staff management skills to uphold our industry leading Employee Journey
- proficiency and willingness to use technology
- deliver business profits through strong labour and COGS management
- willingness to get their hands dirty - this is both a hands on and administrative role - guaranteed 40 hour week maximum with no Sundays
