Location: Preston, VIC
Salary: $110,000 per annum
Hours: 38 hours per week (full-time roster)

The Keys is looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen and elevate our bistro offering. This is a senior role for someone who thrives on service, leadership, and calm execution in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

About the Role

You’ll take full ownership of the kitchen, from food quality and creativity through to people leadership and stock control, while delivering a consistently excellent guest experience.

What We’re Looking For

• A service-first mindset, speed, quality and guest experience come before ego
• Proven leadership skills, able to motivate and manage a busy kitchen team
• Strong stock management, ordering, and cost control experience
• Elite bistro-style cooking with a strong focus on flavour, consistency and presentation
• Creative menu thinking while respecting operational realities
• Calm, confident, and in control under pressure
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior kitchen role
