HNHG is looking to expand its capabilities and is seeking a creative, energetic and reliable Head Baker to join our growing hospitality group in Singapore.
This role is an opportunity for a baker who is excited about building something from the ground up. The successful candidate will help shape and lead a new bakery program for the group.

About Chip Bee Bistro
Chip Bee Bistro is the first venture from the group, located in Chip Bee Gardens in Holland Village, Singapore. Known for its warm hospitality and relaxed bistro atmosphere, it brings together thoughtful cooking, great drinks and a strong sense of neighbourhood.
The group also has a sister company, Distillius, a Singapore-based distillery producing craft spirits and liqueurs inspired by regional botanicals.
The bakery programme will form part of the group’s continued growth.
The Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to help shape a new neighbourhood bakery programme from the ground up. We are looking for a baker who enjoys working with quality ingredients, takes pride in craft and consistency, and is excited about developing breads, pastries and savoury baked goods within a hospitality-led environment.
The Role
As Head Baker, you will lead daily baking operations and contribute creatively to the development of the bakery programme.
Responsibilities include
• developing and producing breads, pastries and savoury baked goods
• creating signature items and seasonal specials
• establishing recipes, production systems and baking schedules
• maintaining consistent product quality and standards
• leading and mentoring a small bakery team
• collaborating with the culinary and hospitality teams within the group
What We Are Looking For
• 3–7 years professional baking experience
• strong fundamentals in bread and pastry production
• experience in café or neighbourhood bakery environments
• creativity with flavours and ingredients
• reliability, organisation and leadership ability
• openness to relocating to Singapore
Experience with sourdough, laminated doughs and savoury baking is highly valued.
