Bar Manager

We're looking for a hands-on, experienced Bar Manager to lead the floor, drive service standards, and shape the overall guest experience. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and has a deep appreciation for cocktails, music, and atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Service & Floor Management
- Lead service shifts with confidence, ensuring smooth, efficient operations
- Maintain a high standard of guest experience from arrival to departure
- Manage bookings, walk-ins, and flow of the venue
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
Team Leadership
- Train, mentor, and develop bartenders and floor staff
- Set clear expectations around service, knowledge, and behaviour
- Build a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture
- Manage staff rosters in line with business needs
Beverage & Product Oversight
- Maintain deep knowledge of the cocktail list, spirits, and wine offering
- Work with ownership on menu development and seasonal updates
- Ensure consistency and quality in all drinks served
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
Operations & Administration
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Monitor labour costs and daily financial performance
- Ensure compliance with licensing, RSA, and health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and overall venue presentation
Atmosphere & Brand
- Uphold the identity of Nobody’s Baby across service, music, lighting, and energy
- Work alongside DJs and events to ensure seamless nights
- Contribute ideas to keep the venue fresh, relevant, and exciting
