Warehouse Team Leader

L&M Home is one of Melbourne’s leading names in luxury homewares and décor. 

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily operations and guide a small team of two within our Fitzroy warehouse. This role is suited to someone who combines strong organisational capability with a collaborative leadership style and a refined attention to detail.

Based at our company HQ in Fitzroy—home to our warehouse, office, and showroom—this role operates Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading a team of two warehouse assistants
• Picking and packing to ensure a consistently high standard of accuracy, care, and presentation
• Managing incoming stock, storage, and inventory control, including physical handling and lifting
• Conducting and supervising inventory counts and stock verification
• Overseeing freight, dispatch, and associated administrative processes
• Liaising closely with the Sales team to ensure all orders are fulfilled in line with brand standards
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse environment
• Fostering a positive, productive, and detail-oriented team culture
• Identifying opportunities to refine workflow and improve operational efficiency

The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and hands-on, with a strong sense of ownership and pride in their work. You will lead by example and be committed to upholding the high standards that define the L&M Home brand.

About You

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment, with supervisory or leadership responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Confident communicator with a collaborative, team-focused approach
• Comfortable balancing leadership with day-to-day operational tasks
• Experience with inventory systems, as well as freight/shipping and eCommerce platforms (highly desirable)
• An interest in homewares or design is a bonus
