Detailed Description
La Flamenca Catering is seeking part-time and full-time Food Stall Assistants for our busy Spanish food stall at Chatswood Market in Sydney.
We are looking for energetic, reliable team players who perform well under pressure and enjoy working in a fast-paced customer service environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Taking customer orders and serving customers
- Food preparation and assisting during service
- Maintaining stall cleanliness and food safety standards
- Stall setup and pack-down
- Assisting with stock handling and equipment setup as needed
Key requirements:
- Able to lift and carry up to 20–25kg (e.g. stock crates and equipment)
- Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive manual tasks
- Confident working in high-volume service periods with queues
- Hospitality, food handling, or POS experience preferred
- Available for evening and weekend market shifts
- Able to work efficiently within a small team environment
Nice to have:
- Experience working at markets, festivals, or food stalls
- Spanish language skills or interest in Spanish food and culture
