The job is around 20- 25 hours a week over 3-4 evenings; full availability is needed during restaurant opening hours Tuesday through Sunday. 4 pm is the latest start on weekdays, but we can be flexible where needed for the right applicant. Staff meal provided daily.
Experience in a similar job is favourable, with training available. The kitchen hand is the backbone of the kitchen, and with that we need a reliable, strong team member who’s willing to work efficiently and quickly to support busy, energetic services.
Accountabilities include:
- Washing and drying dishes to a high standard
- Maintaining cleanliness of storage areas and assisting chefs with cleaning jobs where needed
- Assisting chefs with making our daily-made Focaccia dough
- Assisting in basic prep jobs where available
- Helping the team with storing deliveries and ensuring a high level of organisation
