Part-Time Cafe Cook | Little Lofty (Wonga Park) About Us:
Little Lofty is a local cafe hub located in beautiful Wonga Park. We pride ourselves on serving up great coffee, fresh food, and a welcoming atmosphere for our community. We are looking for a reliable, efficient, and friendly Cafe Cookto join our kitchen team. No formal chef qualifications are required—just a passion for good food, a strong work ethic, and a knack for nailing the morning rush! The Role & Hours:

• Type: Part-Time
• Days: Tuesday & Wednesday
• Hours: 6:15 AM to 2:30 PM (8.25 hours per shift)
• Location: Wonga Park, VIC (On-site parking available)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preparing and cooking our core breakfast and lunch menu (eggs, bacon, toasties, burgers, and fresh specials).
• Setting up the kitchen line for a smooth 6:15 AM start.
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with basic food safety standards.
• Managing morning prep and closing down the kitchen at the end of the shift.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Previous experience as a short-order cook, cafe cook, or kitchen hand looking to step up.
• Speed & Reliability: You can handle the breakfast and lunch rush with a cool head and a sense of urgency.
• Punctuality: You are a morning person who can reliably commit to a 6:15 AM start.
• Team Player: A positive attitude and great communication skills.
• Food Safety: Basic knowledge of food hygiene practices (Food Handlers certificate required)
