Hochi Mama was the god mother of all aspiring street artists and rappers in the early 90's.
An immigrant in the big city, she hosted underground art shows along with rap battles for the rejects; a place where you could just be at home, but with family. The whole crew was always welcome, the more the merrier, and she was well renown for catering with delicious food from her home country, and plenty of booze, in her spacious and homey warehouse.
The beats are always pumping, the playful cocktails flowing; it’s always a fun time at Hochi Mama’s. She keeps the place smelling good too, with Vietnamese pork skewers sizzling fresh off the charcoal grill and her casual take of pho in dumpling form, ‘Pho-plings’, steaming hot and bursting with flavour.
Bar nibbles and vietnamese inspired cocktails, or feasting spreads and cold beers with the guys; sit back and chill, you’re welcome at Hochi Mama’s.
