An award-winning bartender shares his tips and secrets in this hands-on workshop.
Learn how to make world-class cocktails at home at this masterclass run by award-winning bartender James Irvine. Over the course of a hands-on hour and a half, you’ll mix a couple of your own drinks, gain a heap of cocktail knowledge and hear which kitchen staples can be used in place of fancy bartending equipment.
It’s a fairly intimate setting, with each class only hosting 10 people seated at the bar. You’ll get a gin and tonic on arrival as well as some bar snacks, plus a discount on any gin purchase you may want to make at the end of the class. Great for both beginners and cocktail experts, as well as an excellent chance to pick the brain of a bartender who has won awards in Australia and abroad.

The next Four Pillars Masterclass is on Friday, May 14 from 6pm to 7.30pm at Four Pillars Laboratory, 410 Crown Street, Surry Hills. There will be multiple workshops over the next couple of months – you can view more dates here.
