Last One Inn, a bustling restaurant located in Anglsea on the Great Ocean Road, is seeking a talented and experienced CDP (Chef de Partie) & Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Role and Responsibilities:

As a CDP & Sous Chef at Last One Inn, you will play a vital role in our kitchen brigade, working closely with our Head Chef to deliver exceptional culinary creations. Looking for multiples chefs. Your responsibilities will include:

 

- Assisting the Head Chef in planning and executing the seasonal menu.

- Preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards, maintaining consistency and attention to detail.

- Supervising and mentoring junior chefs, ensuring their professional growth and development.

- Managing and maintaining stock levels, as well as adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.

- Collaborating with the team to create innovative and enticing dishes that delight our guests.

- Contributing to menu development and suggesting creative ideas to enhance the dining experience.

 

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

 

- Proven experience as a CDP & Sous Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

- Strong knowledge of seasonal ingredients and a passion for working with local produce.

- Excellent culinary skills and the ability to create visually appealing and delicious dishes.

- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire the kitchen team.

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

- Food safety and hygiene certification.

- A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
