Restaurant Manager

This role will be hands on and will entail, monitoring the staff service delivery, budgeting and rostering and making sure that the food display is appealing and appetizing. Ultimately, you will help increase profitability and boost customer engagement for Bar Nina. 

Responsibilities include:

• Manage, lead, motivate and train the FOH staff to deliver excellent customer service
• Manage labour costs, beverage costs and assist Head Chef with food costs whilst keeping these to budget.
• Be always the face of the business and build the regular customer clientele.
• Address customer complaints in a professional manner and resolve immediately to maintain company reputation.
• Assist the Head Chef on seasonal menu changes and promotions to build business
• Ensure the whole venue is kept to a clean and presentable and to the state hygiene standard, from open – close of business.
• Ensure daily opening and closing checklists are completed to a high standard and always adhered to
• Manage other supervisors and managers to ensure the venues runs smoothly on all services.
• Stock management and that there is always enough stock to sell.
• Strong management of Responsible Service of Alcohol. Managing the guests experience throughout their booking to ensure they have a fun and safe experience. 

To be successful in this role the candidate must:

• Have minimum 2 years’ experience as a Restaurant, Bar or Café Manager
• Fun, friendly and a high level of attention to detail
• Understand that the customers are the priority during service
• Excellent communication skills as well as fluency in English 
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm when busy or under pressure
• Are professional and respectful with both staff and customers
• Must currently be on shore in Australia and have Visa working rights

This role is on a rotating 38hr week roster. The salary for the right candidate is negotiable and between $70 000-$80 000 + Superannuation
