About the Opportunity:
We are looking for the industry’s best Sommeliers to join our team to deliver a best-in-class wine experience. You will have an unwavering passion and appreciation of wine. This is a hands-on role with focus on service delivery.
 
Opportunities available for Assistant Head Sommeliers, Sommeliers, Junior Sommeliers, Wine Waitstaff across all LUCAS venues (Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra )
 
The Ideal Candidate will have

  • Experience as Sommelier / Wine Waitstaff in a fine dining and/or high volume restaurant
  • Basic knowledge in local, national and international wine
  • Passion for wine and the industry
  • Exceptional service skills
  • Excellent communication and organisation
  • Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day to day operations
  • Adaptable, flexible and able to work in a high pressure environment
  • Possess a valid Certificate of Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • WSET or CMS qualification or equivalent advantageous
  • Available to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
  • Must have full Australian work rights
