Carlotta’s menu encourages shared feasting across an ever-evolving selection of antipasti, handmade pasta, and meat and seafood cooked over coals, with a custom-made wood oven from Naples taking pride of place in the kitchen.

About the Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Host to join our team in Canberra.

Main Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare host station and venue entry for service
• Greet and seat guests politely & ensure FOH Crew responsible for the table are ready
• Escalate any issues or complaints to management team immediately
• Complete closing duties as assigned, including cleaning
• Assist FOH Crew with service delivery when required (clearing tables, running food or beverage, etc.)

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

• Experience as a Host in an a-la-carte restaurant is essential
• Immaculate presentation and exceptional communication
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding guest expectations
• Adaptable and able to multi-task effectively
• Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
• Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day to day operations
• Excellent attention to detail
• Outstanding time management
• Experience with Seven Rooms, Guest Centre, OpenTable, Table Check, ResPAK or similar
• Valid RSA Certificate
