About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a passionate and driven Events Sales Executive to join Lucas Restaurants for our two venues in Canberra – Carlotta and our exciting new venue opening in May. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our renowned venues, where you will play a key role in driving revenue, building relationships, and ensuring the seamless delivery of events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and respond to inbound enquiries for both venues
- Generate new leads through proactive outreach to warm and cold clients
- Build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships to drive future business
- Develop and maintain event packages, ensuring offerings are aligned with business goals
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of events and group bookings
- Track sales progress and meet and revenue targets
- Manage event contracts, proposals, and administrative tasks
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution
- Handle post-event follow-ups and guest feedback to ensure continuous improvement
The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong business acumen and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a demanding workload
- Experience in client outreach
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships for future business
- Proficiency in TripleSeat or similar reservation systems is highly regarded
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required
