Assistant Wine Bar & Retail Manager

As the Assistant Wine Bar & Retail Manager, you’ll play a key role in overseeing daily operations, leading a passionate team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll ensure seamless integration between retail, bar service, and our digital platform while maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
• Store & Bar Operations – Manage daily operations, including sales, inventory, merchandising, and logistics.
• Customer Experience – Provide expert wine recommendations, oversee tastings, and ensure a premium in-store experience.
• Bar & Coffee Service – Support the bar team in delivering high-quality wine service and speciality coffee during daytime hours.
• Team Leadership – Train, mentor, and lead a team of wine professionals and customer service staff.
• Sales & Revenue – Drive in-store sales, subscription sign-ups, and customer engagement.
• Community Engagement – Build relationships with local businesses, producers, and wine enthusiasts.
• Compliance & Reporting – Ensure adherence to liquor licensing, food safety regulations, and company policies while tracking key performance metrics.
Who We’re Looking For
• Wine Enthusiast – Passion for wine with a minimum WSET Level 2 certification.
• Hospitality & Retail Experience – 3+ years of management experience in wine bars, bottle shops, or restaurants.
• Strong Leadership – Experience building and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Customer-Focused – Ability to create outstanding and personalised experiences.
• Tech-Savvy & Innovative – Comfortable using technology to enhance service and operations.
Wine Bar & Retail Supervisor
We’re looking for passionate and knowledgeable supervisors to help launch and run our first physical store—a unique wine retail and bar experience that blends expertly curated wines, personalised service, and cutting-edge digital innovation.
While wine is at the heart of what we do, we also serve top-quality coffee during the day, making this role ideal for someone with strong wine knowledge and solid barista skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Wine & Customer Experience – Provide exceptional wine recommendations and guide customers through tastings, pairings, and wine education.
• Retail & Bar Service – Assist customers with wine selections, oversee daily bar operations, and deliver a seamless hospitality experience.
• Coffee Service – Prepare high-quality coffee during daytime hours, ensuring consistency and excellence.
