We are after chef to join our team during daytime hours, with responsibilities spanning both prep and service. This is a hands-on role ideal for a CDP ready to step up, offering real opportunities for growth and skill development
We are looking for a reliable and skilled chef to join the team at Ca Com in Richmond. This is a daytime role that covers both prep and service, and would suit someone with solid kitchen experience who is looking to take on more responsibility.
It is a great opportunity for a CDP or experienced cook who wants to grow their skill set and be part of a tight, professional team.
Day shifts only (no nights)
Responsible for daily prep (sauces, pickles, proteins)
Cooking over a wood grill (training provided)
Service during busy lunch hours - fast-paced, high standards
Some butchery and protein breakdown involved
Customer-facing role - open kitchen setup
Involvement in off-site events and catering (planning and cooking)
1–3 years’ kitchen experience (CDP, line cook, or similar)
Good prep skills and solid understanding of kitchen systems
Comfortable working grill or open flame (or keen to learn)
Organised, clean, and efficient under pressure
Friendly and professional when interacting with customers
Keen to take initiative, learn, and grow in the role
Daytime hours and consistent schedule

Training in areas like wood-fire cooking and butchery
