Creative, varied, hands-on work with plenty of freedom (and the occasional pint). If you've grown up in hospo, have a creative streak, and want a fresh challenge -- come give us a go

We run five very different venues across Fitzroy and Carlton. Between them, we host everything from milestone birthdays and small wedding receptions to bucks nights, wine tastings, foodie events, and laid-back live music with DJs or duos. We need someone who can handle enquiries, piece together events that fit both the customer and the venue, and then make sure the good times actually happen — while also keeping our socials buzzing.
What you’ll actually doEvents:
Be the first point of contact for people wanting to book parties, receptions, tastings, and private events.
Build packages and proposals that balance guest expectations with what works best in our venues.
Coordinate logistics: menus, drinks, entertainment, staffing, set-up, and follow-up.
Be there on the day/night to make sure it all runs smoothly (and step in before things wobble).
Social Media & Content:
Showcase our venues and events online so the next person says “that’s exactly what I want.”
Create content (photos, reels, stories) that shows off our food, drinks, and vibe.
Keep campaigns consistent across five venues, while letting each one keep its own personality.
Track engagement and adjust strategies so we’re not just posting for the algorithm’s sake.
You’re organised, responsive, and can turn vague enquiries (“I want a fun party with dancing, food and drinks”) into real events that deliver.
You’ve got experience with event management and social media — hospitality is a bonus but not mandatory if you get the culture.
You’re confident talking to clients, solving problems on the fly, and making everyone feel like their event matters.
You can shoot and edit photos/videos creating the right vibe for each venue, then turn that into great social and promotional content.
You’re flexible with hours — this isn't a 9–5 thing.
You’ll manage events that actually mean something to people — not just generic promo nights.
You’ll get to show your creative side across five distinct hospitality brands.
Perks: coffee, food, wine, beer, and plenty of nights out (the fun kind, not the “forced fun” kind).
Autonomy to shape how our venues show up both online and offline.
If you can handle juggling five brands, a calendar full of private events, and a social feed that doesn’t look like every other hospitality account, then we’d love to see your work. Send through a folio, social links, or an example of an event you’ve pulled off that made people walk away buzzing.
