Who are Kings Domain?

Born from the fine dining experience, Kings Domain is a fusion of superior customer service, traditional barbering and modern hairdressing. The Kings Domain cutting philosophy has been created by our founder to ensure that our clients receive haircuts that best suit their personalities. Within this environment each barber has the opportunity to continue developing their own style whilst honing their craft alongside some of the best in the business.

There are now eight Kings Domain store across Melbourne:

• Prahran
• South yarra
• Richmond
• Collingwood
• Rialto Towers
• Collins St.
• Armadale
• Port Melbourne

Being a Senior Barber includes:

• Leading by example and giving clear direction and positive encouragement to other team members.
• Educating your clients on which products to use and how to style their hair.
• Building rapport with all clients, not just your own and making an effort to find common ground with every client that sits in your chair.
• The opportunity to take part in media events photoshoots.
• Making sure the juniors and barbers are busy, give them clear, polite direction on what they should be doing during down time.
• Always working with a clean work station, free of hair and tools, putting products back where they belong.
• Assisting with day to day jobs given to you from your manager, assistant manager or coordinator.
• Assist with training staff.

Successful applicants will be:

• Experienced within the industry, with more than five years experience.
• Responsible, reliable and dependable.
• Friendly, optimistic and hardworking.
• Self-motivated.
• Be a clear verbal communicator that works well in a team environment.
• Punctual.
