For over 12 years, Glasshaus has been providing beautiful botanical venues for corporate and private events as well as weddings. All based in Richmond, our three venues Glasshaus "Inside", "Outside" and our new venue "Brucke" provide a stunning backdrop for Melburnians to celebrate. We are looking for dynamic and dedicated people to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
This full-time position blends event coordination, operational delivery, and front-of-house supervision, with a mix of office-based planning and on-the-floor leadership.
Responsible for event logistics, timelines, and event readiness
Conduct post-event reporting, feedback collection, and improvement reviews
Oversee on-site event operations and act as the primary point of contact during events
Coordinate with kitchen, bar, floor, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth event delivery
Provide real-time problem-solving and guest support during functions
Lead and supervise FOH teams during service and events, ensuring high service and presentation standards
Work with the Planning Coordinator on staff rostering
Manage beverage ordering and stock control
Conduct stocktakes of venue supplies (glassware, linen, general supplies)
About You
You are a confident, organised, and guest-focused professional with:
Minimum 2 years experience in a hospitality, events, or front-of-house supervisory role, with demonstrated experience coordinating or delivering functions and events.
RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and Food Safety / Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Strong leadership skills and experience supervising front-of-house teams
Excellent communication and customer service skills
High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required for events
