Wild Life Bakery is looking for a talented Pastry Chef to join our team. We're a small, retail-focused bakery specialising in sourdough, pastries, and cakes, with two locations in Brunswick East and a growing wholesale offering.
This role is perfect for someone who is skilled, creative, has an eye for detail and cares about delivering highquality products. You’ll work closely with our Head Pastry Chef as part of a small team creating viennoiserie, pastries and seasonal cakes.
About the Role:
Produce viennoiserie, pastries, and cakes for daily operations and wholesale orders
Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace in line with food safety standards
Work collaboratively with the bakery team to support smooth daily operations
Casual position with the potential to move to a permenant contract
About You:
Previous professional pastry experience required
Skilled in lamination, shaping, and baking techniques
Detail-oriented, reliable, and organised
Comfortable with 5.30am starts and weekends
