Join our kitchen team.
Bar Holiday is a small to medium-sized neighbourhood bar / restaurant located next to a park on the edge of the CBD and Carlton. Our food is honest and generous, generally Euro-leaning, and with a satisfying home-cooked touch.
We have an opening in our kitchen, working directly with our head chef. You’ll be working in an open kitchen in the middle of the venue, being able to see customers dining along with a lush green view out the window. It’s a vibrant, down to earth kitchen — customers will come and say thank you as they walk out, and sometimes you'll run a dish you've just cooked direct to the table.
The role is currently 32 hours per week, across 4 nights. Duties include food preparation during service, managing the kitchen in the absence of the head chef, stock ordering and assisting in the development of new dishes.
