We are seeking an experienced and energetic Barista / Cafe All-rounder to join our high-volume team at Degani Forest Hill. With approximately 36kg of coffee served per week, this role is ideal for someone confident in handling busy rush periods while consistently delivering high-quality coffee and excellent customer service.

With weekly coffee volume reaching 36kg, we are a strong coffee-focused venue and require a barista who thrives under pressure while maintaining high standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages with consistency and speed
Confidently manage busy service periods (high-volume coffee workflow)
Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude
Take orders and process POS transactions accurately
Assist with food preparation and service when required
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with food safety regulations
Monitor stock levels and assist with restocking and inventory
Contribute positively to a team-oriented environment
Previous experience as a Barista in a busy café environment
Ability to handle high-volume coffee service (experience with 25–40kg per week preferred)
Strong milk texturing and latte art skills
Good understanding of grind adjustment and espresso calibration
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
