Seeking a reliable and proactive Guest Services Attendant to help maintain exceptional standards across accommodation, function spaces and hospitality services for a women's club in Sydney CBD.
Founded in 1901, The Women’s Club is a membership club for women in the heart of Sydney. With a vibrant and diverse membership, we are a sanctuary for connection, ideas, and enrichment through events, hospitality, and accommodation. Members and their guests enjoy eight boutique residence rooms, club dining, and a welcoming community space.
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Guest Services Attendant to help us maintain exceptional standards across our residence and wider Club spaces. This is a key role supporting our operations and hospitality team, and reporting directly to the CEO.
You will take ownership of the presentation and cleanliness of The Women’s Club across both guest accommodation and shared hospitality spaces. Your day-to-day duties will include:
Accommodation & Facilities:
Clean and maintain 8 boutique accommodation rooms to a high standard (bed making, bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)
Maintain shared staff and guest areas including:
Staff change room
Breakfast room and residence kitchen
Laundry, Club office, and common member spaces
Coordinate stocktakes and ordering of:
Room amenities and guest supplies
Laundry and cleaning products
Residence kitchen provisions
Liaise with external laundry suppliers and manage deliveries
Report and coordinate maintenance issues and ensure all areas are safe, clean, and functional
Club & Kitchen Support:
Weekly deep clean of the main kitchen
Assist on the floor during large events or functions
Support setup or service during Club events (evening/weekend rostered work occasionally)
Experience & Skills:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in accommodation cleaning or hospitality support (preferably in a private club or 4–5 star hotel)
Strong understanding of OH&S procedures and safe cleaning practices
Confident communicator with excellent English (written and verbal)
Physically fit, highly organised, and able to manage time independently
Friendly, respectful and professional with members and guests
Comfortable using basic digital tools (email, online supplier orders)
Desirable:
Current First Aid Certificate
Experience in private Clubs or heritage properties
Annual Salary + superannuation + paid leave (annual, personal)
