Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Leadership: Drive a high-performance culture, ensuring the team is motivated and organized during our busy morning and lunch peaks.
Consistency & Quality: Maintain the integrity of our menu, ensuring every dish meets our strict standards for freshness and presentation.
Operational Management: Oversee food costing, stock control, and wastage to achieve financial targets.
Compliance: Maintain a gold standard in food safety, hygiene, and kitchen maintenance (HACCP).
Training: Mentor and develop the kitchen team, fostering a supportive and professional environment.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Head Chef in a busy, high-volume casual dining or premium cafe environment.
Skillset: Exceptional technical skills and a genuine love for fresh, seasonal Australian produce.
Leadership: A calm and professional demeanor under pressure, with the ability to lead by example.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable using digital tools for rostering and internal HR documentation.
