This unique business requires a supervisor who has a passion for food and coffee, an eye for details and a love for community. Assisting the Front-of-House Manager, the successful candidate will help oversee the Front of House division of approximately 12 employees. The candidate should be an experienced waiter, have a strong interest in coffee (making or drinking or both), food (eating), have some administrative and organisational skills, and demonstrate strong leadership attributes.
The candidate will report to the Front-of-House manager and will assist with the following:
1) Rostering and staffing of operational positions in the FOH;
2) Training, morale and discipline of the FOH team;
3) Ordering and stock control, including co-ordinating with the Head Chef for shared suppliers;
4) Management of the Point-of-Sale (Ordermate), including its up-keep and accuracy;
5) Upkeep of all general and public/staff areas of the cafe;
6) Seamless day-to-day operation of the cafe as well as adherence to operating procedures and policies.
Remuneration and working hours (minimum of 3 days) are negotiable.
