We're on the hunt for a confident, community-focused barista to join one of Hawthorn East's leading cafes.
Blood Orange is one of Hawthorn East's favourite local cafes, known for great coffee, good vibes, and a team that genuinely loves what they do. As we grow, our current Venue Supervisor is stepping up into the Venue Manager role, and we're on the hunt for someone ready to step into their shoes.
About the Role
As Venue Supervisor, you'll be a senior member of the floor team leading shifts, keeping service running smoothly, and setting the standard behind the machine. You'll be hands-on every day, pulling consistently great coffee, supporting and guiding the rest of the team, running the floor during busy periods, and making sure every customer gets the Blood Orange experience. You'll work closely with the Venue Manager on day-to-day operations, with plenty of room to grow as the business scales.

This one's for the lifers. We're after someone who lives and breathes hospitality, a genuine career, not a stepping stone. You'll need to be a strong, confident barista who can hold quality even when it's full steam ahead, plus the experience and presence to lead a shift and back up your team. This role is full time including weekends and requires commitment to availability on weekends.
