Events Supervisor

Do you have a passion for events? Do you want a hands-on service role in a busy restaurant? 

We're after an Events Supervisor to run reservations and events at Pony. You'll be the friendly first point of contact for every enquiry, meet guests on site visits to plan their event, and work closely with our kitchen and floor teams to bring it all together. Previous reservations experience is a must.

THE ROLE

• Be the fast, friendly first response to every reservation and event enquiry
• Meet guests for site visits and tailor the experience to what they're after
• Brief the kitchen and floor teams on food, drinks, timings and any special requests
• Juggle a full room and multiple events without missing a beat
• Spot new event opportunities and help grow that side of the business
• Support and train the floor team day to day, and step in as Manager on Duty when rostered

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Previous reservations or events experience (required)
• Fast, warm communication — by phone, email and in person
• Strong organisation and a good sales instinct
• Comfort working closely with both kitchen and floor teams
• Keen to help grow our events program, with autonomy to shape it as you prove yourself

REPORTING LINE

Reports to the Venue Manager, with guidance from the owners as you build out the events side
