About the role

France Soir is a busy French restaurant located in the heart of Melbourne, open midday to midnight daily.

Restaurant Manager duties:

• Making reservations, planning and arranging special requirements
• Greeting guests upon arrival
• Training and managing trade waiters
• assisting the trade waiters throughout service
• Ensuring smooth communication between back and front of house staff
• Managing stock levels for front of house (alcohol, condiments, linen,  cutlery, crockery, stationary  etc)
• Handling any complaints or special requests from customers
• Ensuring compliance health regulations and occupational health and safety
• Must possess a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
• Able and willing to work a rotating roster including weekend, public holiday, opening & closing shifts

About you

You’ll be an experienced restaurant manager with at least 3 years’ experience working in a similar role, ideally, in France or Europe in a fast-paced and high-end French restaurant. 

The ideal candidate will be French-speaking, with experience working with French cuisine. 

Annual guaranteed earnings between $74,000 - $80,000 plus super.
