Thaigga is an award-winning restaurant offering a Thai Fusion menu. We offer traditional Thai dishes and add our unique twist to some dishes. We're looking for a Chef de Parties who is experienced and knowledgeable on Thai cuisine to join our culinary team.

The restaurant is fully licensed and offers a great range of local and international beers, wines & spirits. 

Some of your primary duties will include:

  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices.
  • Season and cook food according to recipes.
  • Assist the Head Chef by managing quality control of all the dishes before they are served to the guests.
  • Promptly notify the Head Chef of any maintenance problems or unsafe conditions in or around the kitchen.
  • Properly care for food supplies and leftovers.
  • Work with the Head Chef to coordinate the ordering of food and supplies.
  • Work with the Head Chef to develop menus.

You must possess the following skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Thai culture and cuisine.
  • Ability to speak Thai and English.
  • Attention to detail
  • Business sense e.g. budgeting, inventory preparation etc.
  • Cleanliness
  • Creativity
  • Fast-paced decision making
  • Organised

The minimum qualification is a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or higher. You must also have at least 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen for a Thai restaurant.
