About Us:
Zeppo Restaurant, operated by Skelar Pty Ltd, is a vibrant establishment in Clyde, VIC, known for its delicious, high-quality meals crafted with fresh ingredients. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled chef to join our team and bring creativity, passion, and expertise to our kitchen.

Minimum Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Diploma of Hospitality (highly regarded)
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Proven ability in food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation, and adherence to Zeppo's standards
• Assist in creating and updating menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer feedback
• Oversee kitchen operations during assigned shifts, ensuring cleanliness, order, and compliance with food safety standards
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience for all guests
• Manage inventory and stock levels, assisting with ordering supplies and minimizing waste
• Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations and workplace health and safety standards
