About Us
Hey there! We’re Bears Wine Bar, a small, tight-knit spot in North Melbourne specialising in good food, great wine, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. We’re a hands-on team that loves what we do, and we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of it.
The Role
We’re looking for a cook, chef or FOH team member to help keep our venue running smoothly. You’ll work closely with us, and ownership is in the mix. Prepping, cooking, and making sure every dish goes out perfectly are things we’re proud of. We can offer casual, part-time, or full-time hours for the right person, but Friday and Saturday availability is essential.
What You Could Be Doing
•Cooking up quality dishes with care, attention to detail, and efficiency.
•Jumping behind the bar to shake up unique cocktails, pour beers, and serve a curated wine list.
•Running food, waiting tables, and creating a welcoming experience for guests.
•Keeping the kitchen, bar, and dining areas clean and organised and meeting food safety standards.
•Working as part of a tight-knit team to keep service smooth and enjoyable.
•Assisting with stock, orders, and prep to keep everything running seamlessly.
What We’re Looking For
•Some kitchen experience would be great, but mostly, we want someone with a good attitude.
•Able to work independently but also be a solid team player.
•Passionate about food and willing to learn.
•Reliable, easygoing, and available Friday and Saturday (day or night).
