Boyer Jones Group is looking for an experienced full time Chef to work at Reverie Prahran. The successful applicant will be willing to work hard in one of Melbourne's busiest restaurants.
In this role you will be:
Preparing and executing dishes and menus with colleagues
Menu planning alongside Executive Chef/Director in line with fresh seasonal produce
Stock control and ordering of stock in collaboration with Executive Chef
Follow the guidance of the executive and/or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes
Optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
Adhering to strict health and hygiene standards
Helping to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
Skills required:
Relevant Diploma and at least 1 year of relevant experience, or at least 3 years of relevant experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen.
Similar restaurant experience a must.
Ability to work on hot and cold sections a necessity.
