Cook required for busy restaurant/bar in Redfern, Sydney.
38hrs - full time - permanent position - $73k to $79k plus super
As a Cook, your responsibilities will include:
Applicant must have 2+ years in cooking in a commercial kitchen.
Call the pass, cook under pressure.
Complete all health and safety requirements. Have a food safety supervisor course certificate.
Ordering and stock management.
Overseeing and directing the food preparation process
Assisting with team schedules and controlling food costs
Supervising day-to-day kitchen operations as required
Fostering a positive attitude, good team spirit, and the ability to work effectively under pressure
Exhibiting excellent communication (verbal & written), organisational, time, and resource management skills
Adhering to nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards and regulations
To qualify for this role, you must have:
Prior experience in a similar role
Relevant qualification(s) in the culinary field
The ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
