Chef de Partie – Grill Section (Immediate Start)
Location: Pony, Armadale
Hours: 4-day roster to start, with potential full-time contract over summer
We’re looking for a capable and passionate Chef de Partie to join our small, dedicated team at Pony. You’ll be stepping into a key role on the grill, working alongside a young and talented head chef who values precision, teamwork and a genuine love for cooking.
About the Role:
You’ll take ownership of the grill section, cooking a variety of proteins to different doneness levels with consistency and care. You should be confident handling meat, especially when it comes to deboning and butterflying whole chickens.
This is a role for someone with a solid foundation in kitchen work who’s eager to grow with us heading into a busy summer season.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong experience on the grill (ideally in a similar bistro or modern Australian setting)
Knife skills – especially for prepping proteins
Good communication and organisation
A calm, reliable presence during service
A genuine passion for hospitality and a respect for produce
