Experienced Casual Waitperson

About the role

Black Cow Bistro is looking for an experienced Casual Waiter to join our dynamic team in our Launceston restaurant. As a casual waiter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our patrons in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
• Providing recommendations on menu items and daily specials
• Clearing and resetting tables between customers
• Assisting with side duties such as restocking and cleaning as required
• Maintaining a high level of customer service at all times

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar casual waiting role within the hospitality industry
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Good knowledge of food and beverage offerings and the ability to make recommendations
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience
