Albert's Wine Bar is seeking a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a hands-on role suited to a confident and experienced chef who thrives in a small, high-volume kitchen and values consistency, pace, and quality.

Albert’s is a neighbourhood wine bar with a strong local following, serving European-leaning small plates driven by seasonal produce and traditional technique, alongside an ever-changing wine list. We’re a young, passionate, and energetic hospitality team that thrives on great service, discovery, and teamwork.
The Role
Working closely with the Head Chef and owner/operators, the Sous Chef will:
Support and maintain high standards across prep and service
Oversee food safety, prep systems, stock, and wastage
Work 40 hours per week, across either 4 or 5 days.
About You
3+ years’ experience as a Sous Chef or senior CDP
Confident running a kitchen during high-volume service
Organised, calm under pressure, and detail-focused
Strong communicator and team leader
