The House of Fras is now hiring a full time sous chef. Operating hours are Wednesday-Saturday for dinner and Friday-Sunday for lunch.
Must have 3 years minimum experience in modern Australian cuisine. Must be able to take directions and keep up to pace.
Working alongside our executive chef, our sous chef is able to step in for our executive chef when required, ensuring all food items meet our standards for taste, presentationa and portion size.
Applicants must be able to work in a fast pace enviroment and able to communicate clearly during service.
Weekly tasks may include assisting in new menu items, training kitchen staff and
Sourcing seasonal ingredients, pricing and ordering.
Ensuring our kitchen adheres to food safety, sanitation and hygiene regulations.
Proven experiece in a similar restaurant and able to understand various cooking methods, ingredients and equipment.
