We’re looking for a confident, service-driven section waiter (Chef de Rang) to join the team at Traderne, working closely on our Chef’s Table experience.
This role offers 2 days per week and is ideal for someone who enjoys a more intimate style of service and wants to be part of a guest-focused dining experience.
About the Role
You’ll take ownership of the Chef’s Table service from start to finish — set up, service, and reset — working closely with both kitchen and front of house to deliver a seamless experience.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys engaging with guests, understands timing and flow, and takes pride in the details.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Setting up the Chef’s Table and preparing the space for service
- Running service for guests with confidence and attention to detail
- Presenting dishes and sharing key elements of the menu
- Supporting wine and beverage service alongside the team
- Maintaining a clean, organised section throughout service
- Resetting the space efficiently for the next sitting
- Communicating clearly with chefs during service
- Handling guest requests and feedback with professionalism
About You
- Experience as a section waiter or in a similar role
- Comfortable working in a more intimate, high-touch environment
- Strong communication skills and a natural rapport with guests
- Good food knowledge and a genuine interest in hospitality
- Calm, organised and team-focused
- An interest in wine is a bonus
