About the Role
You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to support daily kitchen operations, maintain consistency and presentation standards, and help drive an efficient, professional kitchen culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and lead kitchen operations during service
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Assist with menu development and seasonal changes
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff
- Assist with stock control, ordering, stock take, and food cost management
- Help document recipes, kitchen processes, and methodologies
- Maintain food safety and HACCP standards
- Lead service in the Head Chef’s absence
About You
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Calm under pressure and service-focused
- Passionate about food quality and kitchen standards
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Available for early mornings and weekends
