Empire Coffee is a lobby-style cafe by the people behind Melbourne brands EARL and Dame. Located in Freshwater Place, Southbank, this is an opportunity to take the lead, inspire the team and build a legion of loyal regulars and raving fans.
We are recruiting for a natural communicator and a leader who also happens to be an exceptional barista. As the face of the business, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, building and maintaining a great team culture and executing an exceptional product across a Monday to Friday roster.
Empire Coffee, as the name suggests, has a strong coffee focus, and as such, we are looking for a Cafe Manager and Head Barista in one. You will lead the coffee program with the assistance of our friends at Industry Beans and all the support from our head office team. You'll also nurture relationships with building tenants and management, maximising opportunities for catering and events for mutual benefit.
